ChimeraStudio started with two college students obsessed with building better solutions for everyday problems.
We did not come from big manufacturing backgrounds. We kept running into small frustrations in daily life and asking one question: how can we design this better?
For years, we used 3D modeling and printing to improve our own routines. We built custom parts for our cars, redesigned parts that broke too easily, and prototyped demos for companies such as STMicroelectronics to show how their microelectronic boards have real use in everyday products.
Then friends began asking for help. Then classmates. Then small businesses. What started as personal problem solving turned out to have real value.
